DescriptionThe "Kenny Mile"is an approximately one-mile long portion of the Mount Pleasant Way that will connect to the
end of the multiuse trail system in Park West and traverse Highway 17 to extend the length of the Market at
Oakland commercial area, ending at Porcher's Bluff Road. The proposed project will improve pedestrian facilities,
provide safe and separated access to the commercial area and nearby recreation facilities, and link with other
imminent and existing trail segments - providing for transportation options without the need for a motor vehicle.
Parklets for the comfort of trail users with benches, water fountains, landscaping, and educational opportunities
are also planned along this segment. Survey will be until March 17, 2023.
