    Once a month Mount Pleasant Town Administrator Eric DeMoura hosts drop-in office hours at various locations around town in order to better connect with citizens about Town news, projects, issues, and events. The event is open to all. No appointment is needed. For more information about this program, contact the Government Outreach Office at (843) 884-8517.

  4. Mount Pleasant Reading Patrol

    The Reading Patrol is a new program that builds a foundation of knowledge and trust for our youth and strengthens their relationship with the police department. Reading and literacy are key factors in school retention and graduation rates and the department believes that it is never too early to develop a lifelong love of reading. Our talented officers are building bonds with the youth of our community one book at a time. We want to preserve and build on that positive sentiment.
