MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (July 18, 2016) – Hot days call for cool nights under the stars at Memorial Waterfront Park. Every Friday in August, enjoy the summer season at the Town of Mount Pleasant’s Music & Movies in the Park series presented by Y102.5 FM.
Kick off the weekend by watching popular movies on a huge outdoor screen overlooking the Charleston Harbor. Underneath the iconic Arthur Ravenel, Jr. Bridge, viewers will enjoy new releases and classic films during this free series.
More than an outdoor movie, local musicians will perform for the audience before each film starting at 6:30 p.m.
“We are happy to showcase the wonderful and talented acts we have in the Mount Pleasant area,” says Special Events Manager Nicole Harvey. “Come early to eat dinner on the lawn while listening to some great Lowcountry performers at one of our area’s best sunset venues.”
Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged. Rotating food trucks, frozen treats and T&T Kettle Korn will satisfy your taste buds starting at 6:30 weekly! Movies begin at sunset, between 8:00 and 8:30. Admission and parking are free. All ages are welcome.
