MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (October 1, 2018) - The Town of Mount Pleasant is accepting submissions for its new Town Hall Art Program, which is an expansion of the Mayor’s Office Art Program.
Each selected Mount Pleasant artist will have their artwork showcased throughout the halls of Town Hall to be viewed for three months by citizens and community leaders.
Presented by the Town of Mount Pleasant Culture, Arts & Pride Commission, this program aims to promote local artists, encourage interaction between the creative community, local businesses and residents, and to inspire community pride.
“We are so excited to be expanding the Mayor’s Office Art Program to now include the opportunity for local artists to display their work in other areas of our beautiful Town Hall building,” said CAP staff liaison and Special Events Manager Nicole Harvey.
To apply, Mount Pleasant artists must submit photos of their artwork along with the completed application. The application and guidelines are available on the CAP web page or via email from Nicole Harvey at events@tompsc.com.
