MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (Nov. 8, 2018) -- Both north and southbound inside lanes of Highway 17 between Six Mile Road and Long Point Road will be closed Monday, November 12th through Wednesday, November 14th between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The closure is needed to remove the median curb and pave the extension of the stacking turn lane southbound from Highway 17 into Six Mile Road.
Thursday, November 15th between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., the outside northbound lane of Highway 17 will be closed to pave the turn lane into the entrance of the new Home Depot. The paving crew will return Tuesday, November 12th through Thursday, November 15th during the day to pave the pipe crossing on Six Mile Road.
The traveling public should expect delays and use extra caution when driving through the construction zone. All work is subject to change due to weather conditions.
