MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (October 19, 2022) - Due to the cleanup efforts associated with Hurricane Ian, the Town of Mount Pleasant Public Services Department will be adhering to the following schedule for waste collection services:
Household garbage (brown cans) will be collected on your regularly scheduled day. Find your collection day here.
Waste Management Div. has completed the first pass of debris pick-up. The second pass of debris pick-up has begun starting with Monday's route. We will begin to collect Construction & Demolition debris. Materials in the C&D category include drywall, wood products, furniture, and appliances. Please make sure all C&D debris and vegetative debris are in separate piles for pick-up.
To help us in this effort, please make sure to put leaves and small debris into yard bags and cut large limbs six feet to eight feet in length. We will provide daily updates on which neighborhoods will be next for collection.

- Hobcaw Plantation
- Oak Park
- Belle Hall
- Etiwan Point
