Alhambra Hall is nestled in the Old Village section of Mount Pleasant. Overlooking the Charleston Harbor, this former Ferry Terminal is appointed with hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and breezy southern porches that wrap three sides of the building. We host only one event per day so there are no conflicts between events.

The Main Hall
A popular spot for weddings and receptions, Alhambra Hall's main rental space is approximately 3280 square feet. The main hall measures 40-feet wide by 80-feet long.  The building capacity is a maximum of 350 people.  The main hall space can comfortably seat approximately 200 people for a sit down dinner.  

Contracts/License Agreements
We are currently taking contracts/license agreements for the 2016, 2017 and 2018 calendar year.

Contracts/license agreements are taken by appointment only in the Cultural Affairs & Tourism Office at the Town Hall Complex located at 100 Ann Edwards Lane, Building A, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Contracts/license agreements are not transferable. A separate contract/license agreement and Reservation and Damage Deposits are required for each day booked.

An off-duty policy officer is required to be present during any event that has alcohol and at the discretion of the Town of Mount Pleasant staff. To schedule an off-duty Mount Pleasant police officer, please call Nan Greer at 843.884.4176.

The main hall rental includes:
  • The main hall (located upstairs)
  • Catering kitchen   
  • Elevator
  • Foyer        
  • Restrooms
  • Use of the grounds and the porches
  • A limited number of tables, (for use inside the hall only) 
    • (10) - 6 foot long
    • (10) - 60 inch round
  • Chairs (175) brown wooden folding chairs (for use inside the hall only).
