Did you know that contaminated stormwater is the largest contributor to water pollution in the United States?

The Town of Mount Pleasant recognizes this concern and is committed to protecting the health of the creeks, rivers, and marshes its citizens enjoy. Town residents also play an integral role in preserving the valuable water resources that define our community. Through education and involvement, residents are a critical part in preventing stormwater pollution in the Town of Mount Pleasant.

Minimize Your Contribution to Stormwater Pollution
By employing a series BMPs at home or in your neighborhood, you can reduce your impact on water quality in the Town of Mount Pleasant.  Use the following resources to find out more information:

Get Involved With the Water Quality Division
Help make a difference in the Town of Mount Pleasant by volunteering with the Water Quality division. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of activities residents can participate in that help protect our surrounding natural resources and preserve our quality of life in the Town.
