Six Mile Renovations Phase 1
Project Manager:
TBA

Description:
In July 2010, HDR Engineering provided us a master plan for the Six Mile facility. There are several areas that this plan will improve. The project will consist of the following components: Enlarge existing Administrative Bldg., consolidate 3 separate maintenance sheds into 1 larger building, clear acquired property on the southwest side of the property, install bulk storage material area, install several areas for heavy equipment/truck parking, and improve the area designated as the citizens convenience center. Another large component of this project will be the NDPES/Solid waste permit regulations on adding a tipping floor. We would be required to provide a tipping floor at our transfer station to remain compliant

Cityworks - AMP
Project Manager:
Hillary Repik

Description:
Project consists of the procurement of an asset - work management database system and operational hardware. The department's current call tracking system, implemented in 2003, is not expandable to conduct adequate asset management functions or to produce necessary reports for regulatory requirements. In addition, the software is no longer supported by the vendor and is failing. The new database and hardware systems will be used to track and schedule work, projects, and citizen complaints necessary to conduct asset management operations and meet multiple regulatory reporting requirements.

Status:

Per Administrative request the contracting for this project is deferred. Staff is working on the identification of reporting needs to be used for the Crystal Reports training and integration work in this phase.

Street Sign Replacement Program
Project Manager:
James Aton

Description:
The Town's consultant hired to perform an Asset Management study determined that there were 5,500 street signs that are owned by the Town. It was determined that they did not capture all of the signs during this study and they missed an estimated 2000 signs. We will be replacing the 7,500 signs over the next 5 years, or roughly 1,500 signs annually.

Status:

The policy has been adopted by both Committee and Council and is posted on the Town website. An article has been published in the paper and HOAs/Neighborhood Associations are being contacted directly as well. The replacement process will begin next month.
