Facility Rentals
Rental Fee Schedule

 Athletic Fields:           For use of field only – 

  • $50.00 for first hour and $25.00 per hour thereafter for residents.
  • $100.00 for first hour and $50.00 per hour thereafter for non-residents. 
  • Additional charges for use of field lighting shall be $50.00 per hour. 
  • The presence of staffing shall be an additional $20.00 per hour for a minimum of three (3) hours.
  • Field preparation shall be an additional $45.00 for dragging and $70.00 for dragging & line marking.

Gymnasium:

  • When used for games shall be $50.00 per hour/per court for residents and $100.00 per hour/per court for non-residents. 
  • When used for activities other than games the fee shall be as follows:
  • For the Town Hall and R.L. Jones Center gyms:
    • $200.00 per hour for residents and $400.00 per hour for non-residents.
  • For the Park West gym:
    • $375.00 per hour for residents and $750.00 per hour for non-residents.
  • The presence of staffing shall be an additional $20.00 per hour for a minimum of three (3) hours/per court requested.  MPRD reserves the right to assign additional staff as deemed appropriate.

Swimming Pools:  

  • Fees shall include lifeguards.
  • Fees are based on the rental occurring during business hours or non-business hours and the number of activity participants as follows:
    • 1-15participants during business and non-business hours - $75.00 per hour/residents & $150.00 per hour/non-residents. 
  • Groups greater than 15 participants can only be accommodated during non-business hours with the fees as follows:
    • 16-50 participants - $100.00 per hour for residents & $200.00 per hour for non-residents.
    • 51-75 participants - $125.00 per hour for residents & $250 per hour for non-residents.
    • 76-100 participants -$150.00 per hour for residents & $300.00 per hour for non-residents.
    • 101-150 participants - $175.00 per hour for residents & $350.00 per hour for non-residents.

Track: 

  • Town Hall Track:
    • $50.00 for the first hour and $25.00 per hour thereafter for residents
    • $100.00 for the first hour and 50.00 per hour thereafter for non-residents. 
  • Park West Track:
    • $75.00 for the first hour and $50.00 per hour thereafter for residents
    • $150.00 for the first hour and $100.00 per hour thereafter for non-residents. 
  • For both tracks.  The presence of staffing shall be an additional $20.00 per hour for a minimum of three (3) hours per staff assigned.  MPRD reserves the right to assign additional staff as deemed necessary.
  • Equipment use is not allowed at either track unless part of the rental package and will be determined on a case by case basis.

Skateboard Park

  • Fees shall include an attendant.
  • $100.00 per hour for residents and $200.00 per hour for non-residents. 
  • Rental shall only be considered during non-programmed hours.

Tennis Courts:          

  • Rental fees only apply to groups and do not apply to individuals who have paid annual user fees. 
  • $20.00 per one and one-half hours (1 ½ ) per court for residents
  • $40.00 per one and one-half hours (1 ½ ) per court for non-residents.  
  • Rental shall only be considered for the Kerr Tennis Center on Whipple Road.

Activity Rooms:         

  • During business hours will be $50.00 per hour for residents and $100.00 per hour for non-residents.
  • During non-business hours will be $75.00 per hour for residents and $150.00 per hour for non-residents.
  • A maximum of 50 participants allowed. 
  • The presence of staffing shall be an additional $20.00 per hour for a minimum of three (3) hours.

Community Centers:

One time use-

  • Fee for Residents is a $25 deposit and a $25 per day rental fee for each use.
  • Fee for Non-residents is a $50 deposit and a $50 per day rental fee for each use.
  • Deposit for both residents and non-residents will be returned upon inspection of the facility and return of the key.

Long term use, monthly, bi-monthly, weekly or bi-weekly-

  • Fee for Residents is a $25 one-time deposit and a $25 per day fee each time the facility is used.
  • Fee for Non-residents is a $50 one-time deposit and a $50 per day fee each time the facility is used.
  • Both residents and non-residents will keep the key for the duration of the agreement.
  • Deposit for both residents and non-residents will be returned upon inspection of the facility and return of the key.

Lakeside Pavilion Building

  • A maximum of 50 participants allowed.
  • $350.00 per rental for residents.  Deposit $100.00
  • $500.00 per rental for non-residents.  Deposit $200.00
  • Reduced fee available for Recreation Department coaches or instructors for hosting functions for their team or class that will only include a clean-up fee of  $50.00
  • Facility Information: 6 tables and 36 chairs – heater – no air conditioning – no kitchen area – no prep area

Senior Services Center:

  • $100.00 per room per hour for residents;  $200.00 per room per hour for non-residents.
  • $150.00 for two rooms per hour for residents; $300 for non-residents.
  • $250.00 for 3 or more rooms per hour for residents; $500 for non-residents.
  • Rental is for during non-business hours only.
  • Staffing shall be an additional fee charged based on the pay per hour of employee assigned, but not less than $20.00 per hour.  Staffing shall be charged at a minimum of 3 hours regardless of length of rental.
  • Resident deposit is $100.00; non-resident is $200.00
  • Rooms for rent include the card room, activity room, café and lobby.  The exercise/weight room will not be rented out

The above fee schedule does not apply to “in kind” share agreements.  All rentals of Town facilities shall be for personal use and not for private enterprise, commercial use, or profitable gain.
