Description
Phase 1 of the Ben Sawyer Trail is proposed from the existing multiuse path on the causeway to the intersection of Rifle Range Rd/McCants Dr. This 3,200 ft segment is proposed along the west side (harbor side) of Ben Sawyer Boulevard and is proposed to be concrete path that is 10ft to 12ft in width. Staff is pursuing Charleston County Greenbelt funds for Spring of 2023. Any letters of support for the project can be sent to the project manager James Aton at jaton@tompsc.com.
We will have a public meeting on February 9, 2023 at Alhambra Hall (131 Middle St, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464) from 5pm-7pm. This is a drop-in style meeting.
Survey will be available until March 17, 2023.
