MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (June 14, 2016) - The Mount Pleasant Police Department, in collaboration with Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission, is proud to sponsor Casting with the Cops. This event affords children the chance to fish with Mount Pleasant Police Officers and an opportunity to enjoy the natural resources and outdoor pastimes available within the Town of Mount Pleasant. First session will take place on Friday, June 17, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Casting with the Cops is open to children ages 10-15. While this event is free, reservations to use a rod and reel issued by CCPRC are required and limited to 12 children. If a child wishes to attend and has their own fishing equipment, they are welcome to join us! We simply ask that they register so we know they will be attending.
