MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (August 17, 2016) — Mount Pleasant Assistant Town Administrator Katherine Hendricks recently received the Credentialed Manager designation from the International City/County Management Association. Hendricks is one of over 1,300 local government management professionals credentialed through the ICMA Voluntary Credentialing Program.
“I would like to congratulate our Assistant Town Administrator for receiving this prestigious designation,” said Mount Pleasant Town Administrator Eric DeMoura. “In order to be credentialed from ICMA, a member must earn a degree in public administration, or related field, and must have demonstrated a commitment to high standards of integrity and to lifelong learning and professional development.”
Hendricks was hired as the Assistant Town Administrator in August of 2014. She oversees the Capital Improvement Program, the Communications Office, the Office of Cultural Affairs and Tourism, the Executive Programs Office, the Business Development Office and the Solicitor’s Office.
Prior to joining Mount Pleasant, Hendricks served as City Administrator for five years at the City of Pickens, South Carolina.
Hendricks is a graduate of Clemson University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in public administration.
