MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (November 7, 2017) - Mount Pleasant Waterworks and the Town of Mount Pleasant will hold a drop-in for residents to review information and ask questions regarding the Pitt Street and Venning Street Utility Replacement Project on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. The drop-in will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Alhambra Hall, 131 Middle Street.
The project will include replacement of aging water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure. This critical infrastructure has reached its full life cycle and is in need of immediate replacement. This project will include:
- Traffic detours;
- Road closures;
- Utility outages;
- Construction traffic;
- Construction noise; and
- Limited controlled access to residences along Pitt Street (near the business district) and Venning Street.Please plan to attend this important informational drop-in regarding the critical infrastructure that services your area.
