MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (December 1, 2017) - The following lane closures at the intersection of Coleman Boulevard and Simmons Street will take place nightly between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
- Sunday night (12/3) and Monday night (12/4) traffic on Coleman Boulevard travelling West bound (toward the Ravenel Bridge) will be reduced to one single lane through the intersection of Coleman Boulevard and Simmons Street.
- Tuesday night (12/5) and Wednesday night (12/6) one lane in each direction will be closed and traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Left hand turns (West bound) from Coleman Boulevard onto Simmons Street will be not be permitted during the hours listed above. Left hand turns from Simmons Street in both directions onto Coleman Boulevard will not be permitted during the hours listed above.
- Thursday night (12/6) traffic on Coleman Boulevard travelling East Bound (toward Sullivan’s Island) will be reduced to one single lane through the intersection of Coleman Boulevard and Simmons Street.
One lane of travel on Coleman Boulevard in each direction will remain open at all times.
The lane closures are necessary to install a new utility line through the intersection.
The driving public should use extra caution in these areas.
