MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (June 8, 2018) – Mount Pleasant Fire Rescue (MPFR) today launched a feedback survey aimed at gauging residents, visitors and businesses’ level of satisfaction and awareness regarding service delivery.
“MPFR serves 86,000 residents and nearly 6,000 businesses with emergency response and enhanced public safety through a vast array of services,” said Fire Chief Mike Mixon. “This brief survey will allow us to perfect our operations as we complete our Strategic Plan. Thank you for taking the survey and helping us develop our plan.”
The Mount Pleasant Fire Rescue services include:

- Emergency medical first response at the Advanced Life Support (ALS) level
- Hazardous materials response
- Water rescue
- Shipboard fire suppression
- Technical rescue
- Rope rescue
- Trench rescue
- Building collapse rescue
- Automobile extrication
- Public education and prevention
- Fire inspections
- Fire code enforcement
- Fire plan review
- Fire investigations
