MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (Nov. 5, 2018) -- Both north and southbound inside lanes of Highway 17 between Six Mile Road and Long Point Road will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The closure is needed to remove the median curb and pave the extension of the stacking turn lane southbound from Highway 17 into Six Mile Road.
Thursday, between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., the outside northbound lane of Highway 17 will be closed to pave the turn lane into the entrance of the new Home Depot. The paving crew will return Sunday between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. to pave the pipe crossing on Six Mile Road.
The traveling public should expect delays and use extra caution when driving through the construction zone. All work is subject to change due to weather conditions.
