MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (Feb. 12, 2019) -- The Town’s on-call signal contractor will be installing a new traffic signal mast arm and pole for northbound U.S. 17 at Shelmore Boulevard Thursday.
All work will take place at night between the hours of 10 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., with the right turn lane for the northbound approach to the signal, the Southern First Bank approach, being closed while all other lanes from this approach remain open.
A full closure of the intersection will take place for approximately five minutes starting at 10:30 a.m. in order to install the mast arm portion of the signal.This closure will be directed by the Town’s Police Department, detouring vehicles to the frontage roads during this time.
Please use extra caution during this change of the traffic pattern.
