Customers have two opportunities to attend and provide comments
Mount Pleasant, S.C. - - May 17, 2019 - - Mount Pleasant Waterworks will hold two public hearings in June to present on upcoming plans, proposed rates, and charges for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2019. The presentation will include an overview of the Five-Year Strategic Plan, Customer Service Enhancements, Operational Excellence, Financial Viability of organization which includes proposed rates and charges for the upcoming fiscal year and proposed policy amendments.
June 3 Public Hearing (6:30 p.m.) Council Chambers, Town Hall 100 Ann Edwards Lane
June 5 Public Hearing (6:30 p.m.) Performing Arts Center, Wando High School 100 Warrior Way
The two meetings will have the same format and presentation, offering a location north and south of the Isle of Palms Connector. MPW encourages customers attend to learn more about their water utility and get the opportunity to address the Board of Commissioners, regarding the proposed budget and programs. “We are looking forward to sharing our plans and listening to our customers,” stated Rick Crosby, Commission Chair. “At the core of our financial and strategic plan is our mission to provide our customers water service of exceptional value and reliability while protecting public health, safety, and the environment.
