MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (August 31, 2020) - This September, the Town of Mount Pleasant will proudly recognize Business Appreciation Month with a month-long celebration of the local economy. The Town will kick-off a social media campaign to recognize the extraordinary work of the Mount Pleasant business, and to urge residents and visitors to continue to patronize local businesses.
Mount Pleasant Business Appreciation Month will kick off on Sept. 1 on the Town of Mount Pleasant Facebook Page. The Town will invite businesses to participate in social media events celebrating their industries. Each week will be dedicated to businesses that make the community thrive. Industries will range from retail, to food and beverages, entertainment, services, and health and professional industries. Businesses will have the opportunity to showcase their story as they continue to safely promote their services in the age of COVID-19.
The 2020 Mount Pleasant Business and Community Expo has gone virtual and will be open for ten days, starting on Sept. 21 and running until Sept. 30. This online adventure quest, accessible by any smart device, will allow participants to engage with vendors in a purposeful way. No longer restricted by location or capacity limits, viewers can join the fun from anywhere in the world and learn more about the businesses that make Mount Pleasant, SC feel like home.
