MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (April 1, 2021) – Co-owners Laura Rames, Jacquie Hughes, Jean Gabriel, and Cynthia Mazzei together with Mount Pleasant Council Member Kathy Landing, along with Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Director of Development Rebecca Imholz, today attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Village Emporium located at 616 Coleman Blvd.
Village Emporium opened in August 2020 but postponed its ribbon-cutting ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They are a female-owned business specializing in decor and furnishings that are antique, vintage, gently used, or new. The 7,200 square foot store is stocked with treasures from over 30 vendors ranging from small unique tchotchkes to gorgeous leather sofas and large armoires. All things chinoiserie and bamboo can be found throughout the store along with tables, chairs, Turkish rugs, and glassware. The four owners wanted to have a store that was nostalgic and could serve as an interior designer's dream shop.
Village Emporium is open 7 days a week. Visit them online to learn more and follow them on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date with their product highlights. To contact directly, call (843) 936-3904.
