MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (January 20, 2022) - Town of Mount Pleasant Administrative Offices will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 21 due to potential winter weather. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Charleston County effective Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. until Saturday at 10 a.m. Residents are urged to stay off the roadways during this time if possible as the biggest threat is freezing rain, icing on roads and bridges, and potential power outages.
Town of Mount Pleasant Emergency Management, Police, Fire, and Public Services are working closely with local and state emergency management partners and the National Weather Service to continue to prepare for and monitor the storm.
