Mount Pleasant, S.C. (March 2, 2023) - Owner Yesenia Leon with her husband, joined by Mayor Will Haynie and Councilman Howard Chapman, P.E., partnering with Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Director Rebecca Imholz and Board Members, celebrated the opening of Dulce Churros, Ice Cream, and Cocktails with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new business is located at 3064 Proprietors Place, Suite 6.
Dulce offers homemade Mexican-style craft ice cream, popsicles, fresh-made churros, and an assortment of other desserts. If your cravings lean more on the savory side, they also have a variety of soups, salads, toasts, sandwiches, paninis, and brunch options. Coffee from King Bean Coffee Roasters and teas are available to quench your thirst, along with over a dozen unique cocktails to choose from at their bar.
Bringing a taste of "home" to the Lowcountry, Dulce utilizes Mexican ingredients in their selections such as guava, chorizo, chamoy, and more. The restaurant also holds several networking events throughout the year and has its space open for the rental of private events.
