MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (Aug. 31, 2013) - Rand McNally, Good Sam and Geocaching are searching for the Best Small Towns in America and for the Most Beautiful, Most Fun, Most Patriotic, Friendliest, and Best Food, plus a new category this year: Best for Geocaching.
We think that Mount Pleasant has a great shot at winning the Best Food category!
So, we are asking all foodies to vote and vote often to support some great iconic eating places around Town:
• Amazing restaurants
• Locally-grown food at the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market• Fresh seafood off the docks of Shem Creek
Go all out to impress the Best of the Road’s panel of judges. Visit www.bestoftheroad.com and post a video or take them on a pictorial tour and demonstrate why Mount Pleasant should win.
Voting will end on September 3. Winners will be announced by mid–October. Vote early and vote often! Users may vote for a town every 24 hours in any category. Upload reviews and photos to help others see Mount Pleasant through your eyes. Also, encourage your friends, family and neighbors to vote to get their favorite towns on the map. Rally the troops – your fellow citizens, elected officials, visitor centers, and social networks – encourage them to let us know why your pick should be on the map.
Winning towns will be announced on October 7, and will receive a feature in the 2015 Rand McNally Road Atlas and a FREE custom iPhone app and online travel guide promoting your town as a top destination! Plus, the winning Best for Geocaching town will receive a FREE GeoTour, courtesy of Geocaching.com.
Don’t forget—visit www.bestoftheroad.com to vote until September 3. Finalists will be announced in mid-September and a judging phase will occur until October 7, when the five winners will be announced!
