1. Do I need to buy supplies to clean my neighborhood park?

Not at all. We’ll help supply trash bags, gloves, safety vests, pickup sticks, and more. To receive supplies and additional support from the Town of Mount Pleasant, please register your project by 5pm, April 4, 2012.

2. If I organize a litter pickup, what do I do with the trash I collect?

The Town of Mount Pleasant Public Services Department will help remove the litter you collect and bag. On your event registration form, make sure you indicate where your bags will be located. Please select a location that is curbside, accessible to a sanitation truck, and is not on private property (without written permission). Please contact us if you need help finding a location.

3. How do I reserve a kayak for the Shem Creek Cleanup?

Nature Adventures Outfitters is donating space on their kayaks for the first 20 interested volunteers . If interested, please register to reserve your space on a kayak by emailing ggarrett@tompsc.com. Kayak space is limited. Must be 18 years of age or older.
