1. When will the project start?

2. What can the residents of the Old Village expect during this project?

• Selected trees will be removed
• Construction may be required on an easement on your property. Any landscaping or structures within the easement will be removed and will not be replaced. Residents are responsible for knowing if there is an easement on their property and removing anything within the easement that they would like to keep. Please look at the project map to see how your property will be impacted. Just because you have a drainage easement does not mean the Town will be doing work there. You can submit questions to the project staff here.

3. How will we know where and when construction will be during the project?

The Town’s GIS team has created a web application with details of the project that will show the most up-to-date information. The web application will be embedded on this page. We will also keep this page as updated as possible.

4. Will trees be taken down?

Yes. Select trees will be removed. Town ordinances for tree removal will be followed. Residents will able to see the specific trees that are currently planned to be removed on the interactive web map on this web page.

5. Will traffic be impacted?

Yes. Check this page frequently for updates and plan your routes accordingly.

9. What’s the different between a right-of-way and an easement?

An easement gives an entity the right to use a person’s property for a specific purpose. The right-of-way is owned by the entity to which it was dedicated.
