Please note: SC Code of Laws section 6-29-760 requires that for all requests requiring a public hearing, notice shall be posted on or adjacent to the property affected, with at least one such notice being visible from each public thoroughfare that abuts the property at least fifteen days prior to the meeting.

SC Code of Laws section 6-29-530 requires that for all requests involving changes to the Comprehensive Plan, notice shall be posted on or adjacent to the property affected, with at least one such notice being visible from each public thoroughfare that abuts the property at least thirty days prior to the meeting.


It is highly recommended that the property owner and/or a representative meet with staff prior to submitting an application.

All non-commercial plans will be subject to a Conceptual Review by the Design Review Team (DRT) prior to being reviewed by the Planning Commission (as appropriate). All projects submitted for conceptual review must include all elements outlined in the DRT Conceptual Review Checklist.
